The Ackee Connection is located in Saint Petersburg Florida. We are a small tropical plant nursery. At this time we specialize in the ackee tree and all things ackee. Our plants are home grown and hand picked to make sure our customers receive the best value for their money.

Our Shipping Policy

We ship on Mondays so as to allow for the maximum time for your plant to arrive at its destination with minimum of delay. The shipping and handling quoted is for priority mail. Priority mail guarantees that your package will arrive in a maximum of three days. It has been my experience that this method of shipping is quite satisfactory for shipping our plants. When your plant is shipped i will send you a email with the shipping date and the expected arrival date. Please make sure someone is home to accept the plant when it arrives. Return Policy

Our plants are shipped in prime condition and it is not fair to expect me to be responsible for things beyond my control. I will be happy at anytime to give you the benifit of my over thirty years of experience growing plants. It takes no advance skill to make these plants thrive. Packaging

When we receive a order for a ackee tree we go into our garden and pick out the best tree i can find that conforms with the order. The plant is removed from the pot and any excess dirt is rinsed from the roots. The entire plant is rinsed in fresh water then the roots are wrapped in damp peat moss or some similar medium. Then the peat moss is wrapped with brown paper wrap to keep it in place.Then your plant is placed in the mail box at the last minute possible so as to minimize the time it has to spend locked up in the potentially hot mail box or truck.

Welcome to the ackee connection. At the ackee connection we mainly offer ackee trees, fresh ackee and Ackee Seeds. We only offer ackee seeds when they are in season which is usually from July until the end of september. We are happy to ship our seeds world wide. However, due to the numerous restrictions on shipping plants we only ship to the continental United States. Germinated ackee seeds are also avaliable. The price of these seeds are three dollars a minimum quantity of six is required. Ackee trees are sold year round.
